Construction Projects

We ALWAYS have construction projects going on at Waters Edge. By the Summer of 2026, we have to finish the freedom hall expansion, dining hall expansion, a new cabin.

Kitchen

We constantly need kitchen help at WEE, and not just during the summer. We entertain groups year round. We can train you, help you get your food handlers certification, and have plenty of opportunities for you to serve

Camps

When we enter camp season, there are so many tasks to be done, we cannot even begin to list them all out. If you would like to find out how you can volunteer, let us know and we will find a place for you to serve. 

Volunteers at WEE – safe, Trustworthy, and Ready!

  • Background Check: If you are an adult who plans on helping at WEE during camps , Waters Edge has to run a background check on you in order to be around minors.

  • Certification: Depending on where you plan to serve, certification may be required according to the state of Texas. No need to worry, we will help get you certified! This sounds complicated, but we want to maintain excellence in everything we do, and training is not near as hard as it sounds. There are many avenues that require little to no training, and there are avenues of service that require state certifications.
  • Sexual Abuse Awareness Training: Every single adult who plans on helping during camps must complete a sexual abuse awareness training course. IF you haven’t completed one, we will pay for it, send you a link, and let you take the course at home before helping at camp.
  • Not sure where to serve: Give us a call and we will see where you fit into what God has called us to do.
  • Readiness: If you plan on serving at WEE, go ahead and start the process today, so you are ready to serve when the time arrives.
